6 Morning habits to change your life

A wise old saying is “morning shows the day”. It is absolutely true. Our mood and emotions of the early hours of the day sets the tone for the entire day. So, it is very important to start our day with a positive attitude and happy heart. Some simple tips when followed in the morning can help us to become better individuals and achieve our professional and personal milestones.

No Snooze:

 All of us love the few extra minutes of sleep in the morning. We are inevitably tempted to press the snooze button and snatch few extra minutes of slumber before the madness of the day engulfs us, but pressing the snooze button repeatedly alarms our body and instead of few minutes of blissful sleep can make us feel groggy and irritated for the entire day. So, if needed, hit the bed a bit early and fix  a time to get up in the morning.


Do some basic stretching exercise for at least 10 minutes in the morning. You can go for a jog or a walk in the park or just do some basic yoga and meditation at home to recharge your mind and body. Morning stretching and workout session helps in boosting metabolism and improving productivity.

In the modern age of smart phones, we tend to check the phone the moment we open our eyes in the morning. Resist this temptation. Utilize the mornings to spend some time with yourself and family.
